The inability to finish what we start sometimes seems like a biological human defect. We get all excited by shiny new things but quickly bore of them before their value is realized. Half-finished building construction, beginning to learn a foreign language, switching partners at the first sign of trouble. Even in starting a new small business or going after your dream, the only thing more important that starting the effort, is seeing it through to the end, finishing your breakfast.

A friend of mine thinks the word “misunderstanding” is one of the most beautiful words in the English language and I agree.
“We had a misunderstanding” is a great example of harmonious communication because it does not place blame on the speaker or the person the speaker is referring to.

Some people have a knack for remembering dates such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and funerals. I am not one of them. As a self-proclaimed introvert, I’ve rarely attended such events and almost never remember these dates. I’ve always felt personally uncomfortable in these situations. But over the years, I’ve experienced a few things that have caused me to pivot on this point of view.
